Hair Follicle Drug Testing is one of the only ways to get an in depth assessment of drug usage in 3 month increments; 90 days is the most common, however it can go back a year depending on the length of hair. This is a great test for an employer or parent.  Fingernails and toenails may also be used for the test.

 

When compared with urine specimen testing, hair follicle testing provides up to 2.5 times the number of positives and a longer detection window. Hair follicle drug testing can test for the following classes of drugs:
