Latest testing method in alcohol detection is able to capture a 14 - 21 day window by using a simple finger prick sample of blood. Testing is similar to EtG, Ethyl Glucuronide...a metabolite of ethyl alcohol, however this test does NOT capture incidental exposure (hand sanitizer use, etc.), only  the intentional use of ethanol.The purpose for these types of tests is to look for indications of Risky Behavior useage.
